Focus Artefacts, are pleased to offer you items from their exclusive range, featuring:
Congolese Co-op: Several prominent artists from The Democratic Republic of Congo have formed a co-op which they have named "Congo World Art Connection" in order to raise their profile and provide them with the funds to support themselves and the materials they need to continue their amazing work. Currently the average income for an artist in the DRC is $US2 per day. They supplement their incomes by selling craftwork at their local churches and sell their work on the street.
Framed Maasai Necklaces: These beautiful tribal necklaces are hand-made by 3 women from one family who live in rural Kenya. Master craftswomen Serina Kiok and her grown daughters Sopito Kiok and Nookirupi Sadera live in Mara Rianta village near the Masai Mara national park. They carry on the tradition of their culture by making these beautiful beadwork items which are worn within the village and on ceremonial occasions
